Jim Iseman has been with The Best since its conception as songwriter, composer, and Operator. Jim is a New York based performance artist, songwriter, and producer. His production company "Operator Media Worldwide" develops distributable media content of various forms. As a musician, Jim cites his main influences as: G.G., Byrne, Zorn, Patton, Bungle, Willie, Jay Z, Peaches, Radiohead, and all the metal bands of the late 80s to early 90s. In addition to his artistic work, Jim has an affinity for building large-scale, plaintiff-side environmental tort actions (a most interesting hobby). He was born and raised amidst the pines and tobacco fields of North Carolina, and he studied theater and political science at Duke University.
