SUNIL SOMAN (Linus J. Brown, drums) Sunil's Best history began with "The Best of the Best's Flesh" in November 2004. Sunil's ties to the ensemble however date back to playing in the pit for Duke University's musical theater troupe and performing in Durham-Chapel Hill area band Entropy with Best composer Jim Iseman.Over the past several years Sunil has cut his teeth and tuned his chops as a mainstay at several NYC-NJ area open mics and performing as both kit drummer and percussionist in several area bands. In his various projects, Sunil has been co-billed with acts such as Medeski Martin and Wood, The Roots, Guster, Umphrey's McGee and Run DMC.
